Career

Don Dahler started his reporting career in 1982 at WGHP-TV in High Point, North Carolina, where he worked for three years. He initially began as an unpaid intern for KENS-TV in San Antonio. In 1997, Dahler became a correspondent for CNBC, operating from Los Angeles. Prior to his time at CNBC and a brief tenure at Fox News Channel as an investigative correspondent, Dahler served as a producer for CBS News’ 48 Hours.

Don Dahler became part of CBS2 News on September 4, 2007, taking on the role of weekend evening anchor. Later, on May 27, 2008, it was reported by the Daily News that he would co-anchor the 12 noon and 6:00 p.m. newscasts.
